What happens if your car is STOLEN OR WRITTEN OFF in an accident? You will probably lose money unless you have taken out GAP INSURANCE cover. This costs from only £299 and there are two types of cover; one guarantees to pay off any outstanding finance; the other will guarantees that the total amount you receive will be the price you originally paid for your car. Either way, it’ll be a happy ending to a sad story.
