To Our Dear customers
We have been giving great thought to our responsibilities in the current turmoil that has been brought about by Coronavirus.
Yesterday (24th March), we had put a framework in place to carry out essential work - mainly just MOT's VOSA have today announced that
any MOT which expires on 30 March or after, does not have to be carried out for another 6 months.
We believe that this directive is meant to further reduce individual's movements, to cut down even more on the risk of the spread of this terrible disease.
We do not feel that it would be right for us to remain open, and fly in the face of all the recommendations that are being made by the Government We have therefore made the difficult decision that Hilton Suzuki at Bishop's Stortford and Bedford will
temporarily close at the end of business on Friday 27 March.
We will re-open immediately after the movements of individuals has been relaxed by the Government - please keep an eye on this web-site for further news about this.
Our own in-house 7-year warranty servicing requirements have therefore been relaxed, initially by 3 months - and we will continue to review the situation as events unfold.
Please keep yourselves and others safe by following the guidance that you see in the media - and currently only go out for the 4 permitted reasons - this is vital to keep the numbers of victims as low as possible.
I am truly heart-broken to have had to close our doors for now - I will miss all our staff and customers. But we will be back, with the same old Hilton Suzuki spirit that you all know and love - and hopefully that will be very soon.
My very best wishes to you all
