Vehicle and Accounts Administrator
Bedford Branch
Â
Are you an experienced Vehicle Administrator or Accounts Administrator looking for a role where your experience is valued and you can become an important part of a friendly, established dealership team?
We’re looking for a full-time Vehicle & Accounts Administrator to join our Bedford branch.
This is a varied role covering both Sales Administration and Accounts, and would particularly suit someone already working in a dealership environment who enjoys being organised, taking responsibility and making sure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly.
At Hilton Suzuki, we’re a small, family-run business where people are known and valued as individuals. You won’t simply be another administrator in a large department — you’ll be a key member of the team, working closely with colleagues across the business and playing an important part in the day-to-day running of the dealership.
If you’re experienced, accurate and dependable, and would like a stable long-term position with a friendly team and no weekend working, we’d love to hear from you.
Why Join Hilton Suzuki?
✔ Salary £27000 - £30000
✔ Monday to Friday, 8.30am–5.30pm – no weekends
✔ Paid in-house and manufacturer training
✔ Car scheme
✔ Staff discounts
✔ Company pension scheme
✔ Stable, long-term employment with an established local business
✔ Varied role with genuine responsibility
✔ Friendly, supportive working environment
We believe good people should feel trusted, appreciated and supported in their role. We value experience, but just as importantly, we value a positive attitude and people who enjoy being part of a team.
The Role
You’ll work across both vehicle administration and accounts, helping ensure our sales processes, vehicle records and financial administration are accurate and up to date.
Sales Administration
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing administration for new and used vehicle sales
Processing vehicle orders, invoices, registrations and delivery documentation
Maintaining accurate vehicle stock records and customer files
Liaising with the sales team, finance providers and external partners
Ensuring relevant manufacturer and FCA processes are followed
Coordinating fleet vehicle deliveries and associated documentation
Supporting dealership reporting and general administration
Accounts Administration
You’ll also be involved with:
Checking and processing purchase invoices
Reconciling daily banking
Purchase and Sales Ledger duties
Allocating and following up debtor payments
Handling supplier queries
Maintaining accurate accounting records and systems
It’s a role with plenty of variety and one where accuracy, organisation and taking ownership really matter.
What We’re Looking For
Ideally, you’ll already have experience in a similar vehicle administration, dealership accounts or combined administration role.
Automotive dealership experience would be a real advantage, as you’ll understand the importance of accurate paperwork, deadlines and keeping everything moving when the dealership is busy.
We’re looking for someone who is:
Organised and naturally attentive to detail
Comfortable managing several priorities at once
Confident communicating with colleagues, suppliers and external partners
Reliable and able to take ownership of their work
Happy working as part of a close-knit team
Positive, approachable and willing to help when needed
Above all, we’re looking for someone who takes pride in doing their job well and would like to become a valued, long-term member of our team.
